Brussels Sprouts Roasted & Glazed

Ingredients:

2 pounds Brussels sprouts, trimmed and cut in half through the core

1/4 cup olive oil

onion powder, sea salt and ground black pepper

2-3 tablespoons *balsamic glaze

Directions: 

Preheat the oven to 400 degrees. Trim and cut Brussels sprouts in-half through the core. Blanch in boiling water for 1-2 min. Drain well. Place the Brussels sprouts on a sheet pan, including some of the loose leaves, which get crispy when they're roasted. Add the olive oil, onion powder, sea salt and black pepper to taste, toss, and spread out in a single layer. Roast the Brussels sprouts for 20-25 minutes, until they're tender and nicely browned. Toss once midway during the roasting. Remove from the oven, drizzle immediately with the *balsamic glaze, (I used Trader Joe's brand balsamic glaze) and toss again. Taste for seasonings, adjust accordingly, and serve hot. Enjoy!
