Let Us Pray
Let Us Pray.
Let us Pray. Today I challenge you to Pray for your significant other; not for what they are not, but for what they are. The words you pray can be powerful and effective in your life. If you're already doing this then continue to do so and simply add an extra prayer for today. Prayer is not only beneficial for the one being prayed for; it is also good for the one doing the praying.
If you're looking to kick this specific challenge up a notch you can ask your significant other to pray with you. Again, if you're already doing this then continue to do so and simply add an extra prayer for today. If you're not already praying with your loved one and would like to start here's a way to get started:
1.) Pick a time and a place that you will not have distractions 2.) Hold hands (you can sit or stand facing one another) 3.) Each take a turn to share what your prayer requests are 4.) One of you prays aloud including both of your prayer requests in that prayer 5.) Once you are done spend some time embracing one another
Praying with one another in this manner is a great way to spend time together, it enhances your intimacy with one another and your intimacy with God, it allows for open sharing of the matters of your heart, and it strengthens your relationship together. Prayer is the glue to strongly bond the two of you together.
Ask God to bring healing and growth to your relationship and Thank God for your significant other. Start with a short prayer until you get used to praying aloud for your loved one. Lastly, remember that prayer is simply talking to God; don't be afraid to pour out your heart.
I pray that your love will be transformed. Amen.
