I absolutely luv learning about new products that make mommy duties easier for my children and me.  I was recently introduced to a new product called Pouch Buddy by Chub Chub Baby. Pouch Buddy is a dandy self-feeding gadget that twists on to most pouches! There have been many times that I have given my children a pouch only to end up with more pouch on their clothes than in their bellies. This self-feeding tool helps them suck on their pouch and squeeze less.

The Pouch Buddy has allowed my children to enjoy their pouches more independently. My kids LUV to do things “all by themselves!” It is easy to use; which is a nice feature when you have a fussy little one in need of a quick snack on the go. My children and I really appreciate the feature of the handles.  It reminds us of the handles on some of their favorite sippy cups. The label says it fits “most pouches”, but fortunately for us it has worked well with every pouch brand that we use! One of my favorite features is that it comes with its own cleaning brush to scrub the inner crevices of the pouch and remove all puree residues after my kids are done using it.  Although, pureed food seems to wash out of it fairly easily without the brush, however, I have been guilty of leaving it in the car overnight (oops), so the brush IS one of my favorite features. LOL.  A few other things that make this gadget attractive to me as a parent are, it is BPA Free, Phthalate Free, dishwasher safe on the top rack, and it can be used as soon as I start pureed food with my children (6 months and older).

My children now recognize their Pouch Buddy as part of their pouch snacks.  When they ask for a pouch as a snack they also say, “can you put the thing on it too?” Now to teach them that “the thing” is called their Pouch Buddy! I keep pouches in our pantry and in my diaper bag as snacks, so I keep a set of Pouch Buddy’s at home and in my diaper bag.  It has quickly become a snack essential, especially since that means less mess for mommy to clean!
