Random Act of Kindness

Random Act of Kindness Today I challenge you to perform a Random Act of Kindness for your loved one.  Practice kindness and pass it on to someone else.  A random act of kindness is a selfless act performed by you to assist someone else and/or to bring someone else joy. Today I want you to make a deliberate attempt to brighten your loved ones day by doing something thoughtful, nice, and caring for him/her.  The challenge within this challenge will be to complete today's challenge regardless of the condition of the relationship with your loved one at the present moment. Keep your heart and your intentions pure.

Here are a few examples: Surprise him/her with lunch at the office today Do his/her chores tonight Give him/her the night off from kitchen duties Give him/her the night off from kid duties Give him/her the night off from cooking Give him/her a massage Do your loved one a favor Cook their favorite food and/or dessert Surprise him/her with their favorite coffee or smoothie, etc.

Be mindful that these Acts are to be random, kind, thoughtful, nice, and caring.  You are not allowed to keep record of what you did for your loved one, your are not allowed to use it and/or hold it against them later.  This is a time to open your heart and allow your kindness to shine.  You can even double challenge yourself to do so many random acts of kindness today that you forget how many you did!

Kindness is contagious. Allow your kindness to be so great that it inspires someone else to be kind.  Let's create a ripple effect of kindness!
